Peanut Butter Playdough

Baby E and I made peanut butter play dough. I have a confession, I don’t like peanut butter and I didn’t really want Baby E to eat it. I won’t tell you why because I don’t want to ruin peanut butter for some of you. She had not been exposed to peanuts and she needed to be. So I decided this was a fun way to do that with out her just eating it, although some (OK lots) did get eaten. The recipe was simple:

1 cup of peanut butter

1 cup of powdered milk

1 Tablespoon of honey

Please do not make this until your child is a year old because of the the honey, or you could leave the honey out. I liked this recipe because there wasn’t a lot of sugar in it.

Then mix it all together. This was Baby E’s favorite part.

Over all she really enjoyed it and I see more of this in our future. Next time we will use cookie cutters.
